Our program
A Step Above Your Vision
is
a tough-love philosophy that permeates every aspect of
the program. Before new residents are accepted they undergo
an intense peer-interview. The questioning is focused upon
the applicant's motivation. Once accepted, the new resident is
restricted to the property for three days.
ASAYV HAS FOUR LEVELS:
ENTRY LEVEL: This is a two-week period during
which residents are only allowed to leave the property to attend 12-step
meetings or to seek employment. If residents leave for other
reasons, they must be accompanied by a senior resident.
LEVEL ONE: A resident can be voted into level one by
peers if she has obtained employment, has a sponsor and a 12-step home
group. Level one residents may leave the property alone, though they
adhere to an 11:00 p.m. curfew on weekdays, a midnight curfew on weekends.
LEVEL TWO: Level two status is granted if a resident
has met level one requirements for 30 days, has a zero service
fee balance, and is supportive of ASAYV
activities. Privileges extended to level two residents include a
midnight curfew weekdays, a 3:00 A.M. curfew on weekends and periodic overnight
and weekend passes.
TRANSITIONAL LEVEL: Those in transition level are
granted this status by upper management after they write a
detailed paper outlining their plans for re-entry into the community. This
paper must include a meeting schedule, work schedule, savings plan and
other pertinent information.
